European Women Payments Network (EWPN) is the first and only pan-European not-for-profit organisation for women and other minority groups working in the banking, fintech and payments industries in Europe.
EWPN provides a platform that inspires, empowers and mentors women and other minority groups in financial services to help them realise their full potential and position themselves for greater personal success whilst continuing to develop and contribute to their industry. EWPN is the first European-wide platform specific to people working in banking, fintech and payments irrespective of the level they have attained in their careers. As part of the possibilities to receive more information or to sign-up for our newsletter, we collect your personal data, which can be given at your discretion. The personal data we collect include your name and email address if you sign up for the newsletter. In order to receive access to the EWPN member portal and/or the recruitment portal, we collect your personal data, which is required in order to obtain such access. The personal data we collect include your name, email address, company, job title, phone number and country of residence if you wish to access our member portal. For utilization of the recruitment portal, you can provide specific career information or upload your CV. For this, we will collect your email address, phone number and potentially other personal data such as home address, age, date and place of birth, marital status (if presented on your CV, but recommended to remove before uploading). We also collect information about the use of our website using cookies (see the Cookies Policy). If you register for a local meetup or event through Eventbrite, we may collect the following information on you: name, address, email address, phone number, gender and dietary requirements.

You are not obliged to provide any of the personal data and/or to complete the contact request form. If you choose not to, we will not be able to contact you regarding our network, register you for the event or send you the newsletters.

Our membership portal is hosted at an external data centre within the EEA. We have a data processing agreement in place with this processor.
We do not engage with any processors that are based outside the EEA, and in principle, no personal data is transferred outside the EEA. However, in relation to the membership portal, in exceptional cases, portal users/members may be based outside the EEA, and they may have access to any personal data to the extent it is made publicly available through the portal by you.
We aim to ensure that there are appropriate physical, technical and managerial controls in place to protect your personal details. All data transmission between you and the Website is done via HTTPS.
